Our Pumpkin Adventures

We picked out our beautiful pumpkins the monday before Halloween.

Macey's was very nice and only 9cents a pound!

We got to ride in a blue suburban for free!  Well we had to pay gas but the hot driver was priceless.

One of our beautiful picks.  I had to document this since I had seen so many cute blogs on others trips to the pumpkin patch.  I really wanted to support the locals but not a 20cents a pound.

Fun fall days

Good Morning Grandma!  Louis had fun visiting with Grandma Olsen one morning.  So cute.  He also tried to show her a toy through the phone.

Lucy can ride a two wheeler!  She has been having a blast riding most everyday until it snowed.  We have to pump up her tire every day.  It has a slow leak but she is not discouraged!  I need to learn from her.  She is so energetic and forgiving.  She wanted me to make a pet shop house out of the diaper box.  She had alot of fun and Louis wanted one too.  His was a bad guy house.  He uses his for bionicles and dinosaurs.

Gordon Olsen Halloween Party

I'll have to post the rest of the pictures later.  This is taking too long.  Way cute kids.  Jed was the fireman and I was his flame.  Woo Hoo!

Love you Jedidiah!

Jed had a relaxing birthday.  It was on Sunday so after church when mom was still busy, Lucy made lunch for everyone (toast, applesauce, and string cheese).  Then Jed got to nap and Celia made enchiladas for dinner and a chocolate cake(with some help from the kids.)  Tyson made sure Jed had water and a heat pack so he could relax before his nap.  Mom and Dad Vorwaller droped in for the celebration after dinner.  Jed got a BYU sweatshirt, BYU pez dispenser, a rubix cube, two movies(The Apple Dumpling Gang and Pete's Dragon), and Mike and Ikes.  The cake had a football shape on it in powdered sugar.  Louis helped clean off the beaters!

Relaxing

We had some cold days in October.  Jed wanted to keep warm and hear the show he was watching.  I busted up laughing when I walked in and saw him like this.  He looks a bit elfish.  He deserves the breaks he takes.  What a great dad and husband!

Louis is loving preschool.  He likes to sing the songs and do papers more than some of the kids but they all love to play.  He is in with 5 other 3 year olds.  The moms are taking turns teaching.  He always wants to take his back pack.  He said his favorite thing about pre school is his picture.

Fall Fun

Eating the rest of the frosting!
Halloween cookies! We had fun decorating and eating them.

First tooth out! She was so excited. The tooth fairy gave her three quarters.

Paige had to make a puppet of a character from the book she read for her book report. This is Soren from Gaurdians of Ga'hoole. Paige sewed it all by herself on the sewing machine and by hand. Good series of books by Katherine Laskey. The movie should be out next year!

Louis playing with the Roly poly bugs. I have a memory of playing in my front yard in the sun with Roly poly bugs. God didn't have to make nature so fun for us, but he did anyway!

Denver Zoo

Pictures I didn't get posted in April. We had fun at the zoo. I loved the otters most. The elephants habitat was under construction so we didn't see any live ones.
Louis studying the map on our lunch break before he ran over and came close to falling in with the penguins.
Jed caught other zoo goers attention with his great jumping skills.

We paid the money for the carousel and train. Glad the kids liked it. We spent a lot on this trip! The train didn't even go by animals except the ever present squirels. Fun being together!
